This is Yuki.
A small yellow blob with big eyes, slightly squishy cheeks, and an unreasonable amount of opinions about konbini onigiri. He is the heart of UseJapan and your tiny travel companion across the country.

Born from an onigiri
Legend says Yuki hatched from a forgotten rice ball on a quiet kitchen counter in Kyoto. The cook never noticed. Yuki did. He blinked twice, stretched his tiny nub-arms, and decided the world looked tasty.

First ride on the Shinkansen
He pressed his whole face to the window the moment Mount Fuji appeared. He has not stopped traveling since. Top speed: 320 km/h. Top snack count per trip: classified.

Beautifully lost in Shibuya
Yuki got swept into the Scramble holding a paper map upside down. Three hours later he had memorized every coin locker, toilet and konbini between Shibuya and Harajuku. That is how UseJapan was born.

His one true love: onsen
After a long day of guiding travelers, Yuki retreats to a quiet mountain onsen. Towel on head. Eyes closed. Slowly turning the perfect shade of golden. Do not disturb until at least one cup of hot tea has been prepared.

Powered by ramen
Yuki runs on noodles. Tonkotsu in Fukuoka, miso in Sapporo, shoyu in Tokyo. He has slurped at 412 counters and counting. He still cannot use chopsticks properly. He does not care.
